Peter enjoys entertaining you and your wedding reception
guests in mix and mingle situations.Keeping everyone amused,outside and inside,as they arrive,during the photo session,at
the bar,at the buffet,or during a sit down meal.
Children attending? No worries,Peter can keep them happy
with his repertoire of balloon modelling,all done on a walk-about basis while performing close-up magic for the
adults.Please note that he can not offer a specific magic show for children nor does he entertain
children as a separate group.
Peter works his own brand of close-up magic
and ballooning, out of his pockets, and does not require a surface to work on,so your table settings remain undisturbed.As
the entertainment is focused on small groups it does not interfere with other guests chatting with friends etc.
His 'tongue in cheek' performing style appeals to all ages
and his humour is CLEAN.

He will attend for up to 3 hours,so
you don't have to worry if the wedding
arrangements fall a little behind schedule,as they often do.
Close-up Magic is the perfect 'ice-breaker' helping
your guests to socialise,especially early on,and a useful time-filler to cover for unforseen delays.
He is willing to take informal photos of your guests (with
their camera) so no one is left out of the picture.A service known to be appreciated.
It is recommended that you hire Peter to work the earlier
part of your wedding reception so that he can meet and greet early arrivals,work the drinks reception
(indoors or outdoors) and,if required,entertain during the wedding breakfast.It is not ideal to have him entertain
while the disco/band are playing but Peter will do so if required,but high sound levels will restrict his effectiveness.
FEES.
Peter's normal fee for entertaining at a wedding
reception including the wedding breakfast period (usually a 3 hour approx. performing
time) is £250.plus travel costs (if significant).
If you require him to just work the photo/drinks reception
period,the fee would be £175. plus travel costs, (usually a 2 hour performing
time).
He also produces (at extra cost) 'magic giveaways'
that make a nice memento for the children/top table,ask for details.
Remember,Peter is based in North Herts so if your wedding reception
is in the area of Stevenage,Hitchin,Letchworth,Baldock,Hertford,Ware,Welwyn
Garden City and St,Albans no travel costs need be added to Peter's fee,nor will you be paying any entertainment
agency fees as you book Peter Jest direct.
